Classic Gray and White
Like classic black and white photography, interior design that utilizes a black and white color scheme (or it's slight variation gray and white) will always be an iconic look. Dark shades of gray will continue to be a popular look in home interiors, and because they are a shade off from black, they are considered a softer more subtle look.
The kitchen below was designed with Dura Supreme's Storm Gray paint and the overall effect was brightened with white tile, white trim and a white countertop. For the adjoining garage entry, white painted cabinetry was selected to contrast the Storm Gray paint.
The kitchen below is designed with Graphite gray painted cabinetry with White paint. Again, a classic mix of gray and white that looks stunning together!
For this kitchen design, White paint was selected for the kitchen, while adjoining spaces in the laundry and home office use Graphite gray paint to create this iconic color scheme. Many designers will mix the two colors together within the same space, but this color combination is equally appealing when used in adjoining spaces to accent each other.
