Located in a historic neighborhood, this small remodeled kitchen gained more space by extending upwards. The Dura Supreme Cabinetry is shown in the Hudson Inset door and Hudson Full Overlay door styles in the “Linen White” paint color.

Expanding the kitchen storage was a high priority for the homeowners, but moving walls or expanding the footprint of the historic home was not an option so the designer expanded the storage towards the ceilings to take full advantage of the 10 ft. ceilings. To make the new tall storage more accessible the designer also included a library-style ladder with a rail system. The new portable ladder is easy to move throughout the entire space and when it’s not being used it’s hung decoratively on the wall across from the refrigerator.
