Kitchen & Living Room Remodel with Clean Lines & Cohesive Design
Design by Sandra Daubenmeyer of KSI Kitchen & Bath in Macomb, Michigan.

After years of living with dark floors, ornate moldings, and glazed cabinetry, the space no longer reflected who they were or how they lived. The homeowners wanted a home that felt calm, clean, and modern—yet still warm and welcoming. Designer Sandra, at KSI Kitchens & Baths, completely revamped the outdated home with a new, fresh modern design with a cohesive look that flows through the whole home.

The kitchen design features Dura Supreme’s Reese door style in “Canvas” paint for the perimeter and “Cashew” stain on Maple for the kitchen island. The wood hood features the “Onyx” stain on Maple wood with the frieze accented with the “Cashew” stain on Maple. The glass accent doors on the hutch area feature Dura Supreme’s Aluminum Frame Door Style #1 in the “Onyx” matte black metal finish. While the living room features Reese door style with the “Onyx” stained finish on Maple paired with “Canvas” painted open shelves.

This was more than a kitchen remodel. From the family room to the dining area, home office, and even a new basement kitchen, every space was intentionally designed to feel part of a unified whole—without becoming repetitive. Each room carries its own personality, but they all speak the same language: clean lines, timeless finishes, and functional elegance.
